The hike out to Alamere Falls in Point Reyes is probably one of my favorite hikes in the bay area because the gorgeous trail winds around lakes and through forests, and seeing the awesome waterfall that flows into the Pacific Ocean is such a cool payoff.
A couple weeks ago we took our second trip to Alamere Falls. The first time we went the tide was crazy high so we couldn't walk on the beach out to the falls. But this time the tide was out far enough so we were lucky enough to see the falls up close (ahhh just thinking about it makes feel instantly calm). Click here to learn more about the trail.
