Until about a week ago our bedroom was the last room in our apartment that wasn't really finished. It was the place where I just kind of threw stuff that didn't have a home and it was getting pretty cluttered in there. So I did some throwing out and some strategic rearranging and now the hubs and I can walk in there and feel calm instead of claustrophobic. The only thing that we still want to change about the room is our bed, we don't really neeeeeed a new bed, but it's always fun to browse. Our bedroom is full of wood furniture and our giant wood love sign, so there are a lot of dark, hard surfaces. To bring some softness and texture to the space I've been looking at upholstered bed frames, or cheap IKEA bed frames that I can somehow upholster. Here is a round up of some of my favorites from around the web.
P.S. Here is a great DIY upholstered bed made from the FJELLSE Bed Frame from IKEA.
